Preference with Sochi rules and a pool of 10. At the table: three players.
Rules
- 32 cards (7 to ace), 10 each, 2 to the talon. Pool of 10.
- Bidding: 6♠ < 6♣ < 6♦ < 6♥ < 6 no trump < 7♠ … < 10 no trump. Misère sits between 8 and 9, only as your first bid.
- The winner takes the talon, discards 2 cards and names the contract. Opponents whist or pass.
- Follow suit; if you cannot, play a trump. If everyone passes, it is a passing game: take as few tricks as you can.
- Make it — score to the pool (6 — 2, 7 — 4, 8 — 6, 9 — 8, 10 and misère — 10). Fall short — to the mountain, whisters get whists.
- Result: whists against each other plus the mountain difference times 10.
